Quality
Owing to our Quality we have a lot of loyal consumers that buy our products every day. But Quality does not refer only to high quality products that satisfy growing and changing consumers’ needs. Quality is present in every action we take. Beginning from product development, through production and sales and ending on marketing, we are doing our best for the consumer who must receive the product that values its money. Quality is the constant challenge for us and for our business partners.
The highest world quality of production in all our factories is confirmed by ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001 certificates and HACCP system.
Responsibility
We build our business in a responsible way with the respect for our Associates, consumers, business partners, community that we act in and the surrounding that we influence on.
We are fully conscious of our influence on natural environment and we are doing our best to save it for future generations. Within the scope of our water and energy saving programmes we use the alternative sources of energy, e.g. heat pump. We have our own biological sewage treatment plant where with the use of microorganisms wastewater from our factories is cleaned. Our neighbours use this residue as a fertiliser on their fields, and the water, which leaves our sewage treatment plant, is used to irrigate the green areas and the nursery.
A special biofilter cleans the air from petfood factories. It is filled with coconut fibre imported from Sri Lanka. The colonies of bacteria form themselves on this fibre and they feed with the pollution from this air.
The recyclable materials, which are selected in our office and factories, are compressed. Owing to this compression only one truck with recyclable materials leaves our company, not twenty of them. Owing to these practices we are proud of having ISO 14001 certificate.

Mutuality
We define success according to our own standards. We believe that Mutuality is the measure of success. The real Success can only be achieved and sustained if everyone shares in its benefits. With mutual benefit and proper respect for our associates, our customers, our consumers, our community and our planet we can make a difference that endures.
Infrastructure investments, health and safety programmes and educational projects belong, among others, to our main activities in local community.
By building playground or skate-park in Sochaczew or co-organising the sports events we are promoting the solid and honest social partnership. On local authorities and citizens’ application we were honoured to receive the title “Benefactor of the Year” twice. We co-operate with more than 170 social institutions across Poland.
Efficiency
We want our products to have perfect quality in relation to their prices. Efficiency is our basic rule. Using it in practice helps us to realize this ambitious goal. We are constantly increasing efficiency and cost reduction without compromise on our products’ quality. Innovation is our goal in everything we do.
Within the LEAN philosophy and KEIZEN programme which were introduced in Mars Polska, our associates are encouraged to take responsibility for constant improvement and to show initiative. Since the time when LEAN was introduced more than 8000 ideas were reported and 100O out of them were launched, e.g. we developed a system of using post-process water to heat the buildings and to heat water for factory machines cleaning.
Our factories belong to the most effective in Mars inc. The prizes we received confirm this. One of them, received in 2006, was the prize for the Best Petfood Factory in Mars company
We are constantly changing to be able to fully use the market potential and react on the new needs of our consumers.
